Nursery RNs provide care for children up to seven years old.
They assist in many aspects of their patient’s daily lives including social, emotional, educational and practice interaction.
They make sure that spaces are children-friendly and may help supervise in activities that children engage in (like arts and craft project, reading, etc.)
Since their patients are children, Nursery RNs are most often in preschool or nursery settings. They teach children basic hygiene and manners. Help feed them and potty/toilet train them. They also take care of the records and paperwork that goes with their patients as necessary, as all RNs do.
