Antepartum Travel Nurse Jobs

  • Antepartum RNs care for mothers and babies both before and after the birthing process, so it’s not uncommon to find these nurses floating to all mother/baby units. Their focus is to give assessments to mothers and ensure that the baby is healthy before and after labor.
  • These RNs will be required to evaluate the status of the mother and baby, estimate the gestational age, identify patient risks and complications, anticipate any problems/issues that may arise and to prevent them if possible, and promote education.
